E-bike riding is as much or as little as you make of it.
If you’re new or not a regular rider, the assistance from an e-bike helps you get started.
If you’re a regular cyclist, e-bikes can give you more, but if you rely on them heavily, could reduce your fitness gains.
Because e-bikes are heavier and can be adjusted to how much assistance they give, it’s possible to get way more of a workout on one. Ultimately, it’s up to the user to find balance, but what we see typically is it encourages and enables people to ride or ride more and that usually means more fitness and joy!
