According to an article in The Times, the Tour de France will end the tradition of “podium girls” to greet stage and jersey winners.
Other big cycling races have already eliminated their female hostesses, such as The Tour Down Under and the Vuelta a España, and Formula 1 (F1) stopped using “Grid girls” from the start of the 2018 World Championship season.
